The Backpackers Barn & Wilderness Centre is located right in the middle of the Central Business District of the City of Devonport and getting to us could not be easier!

  
 
Take the Airport Shuttle from the Devonport Airport if you arrive by air.
The  Spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal is about 20 minutes walk from our front door if you fancy a pleasant stroll to get your bearings.
Take the ferry across the Mersey River and walk an even shorter distance.
Redline coaches depart and terminate directly across the road from The Barn to and from other population centres in Tasmania  from our local  Redline Coach and Freight Depot
Tassie-Link buses provide state-wide services and connections around Tasmania.
We at "The Barn" can also help you arrange your transport needs from our travel and tour desk
